Hunter Hudson ceiling fan model 28531 can be mounted in three different positions. For low ceiling applications, the Hudson can be installed flush with the ceiling or can be installed on a flat ceiling using the downrod included. If hanging on an angled ceiling an optional downrod will need to be ordered.
The Hunter Ceiling fan model 28531 is ideal for small rooms and when mounted in its normal position using enclosed downrod, the distance from the ceiling to the bottom of the blades is 11.5 inches and the Hudson housing is 12.5 inches from ceiling. Deduct approximately 2-3/4 inches if flush mounted
